CIBE metrological laboratory is ACCREDIA accredited for the calibration of mass samples, weights and scales.
The certificates issued by the LAT CIBE n. 117 (LAT or Laboratorio Accreditato di Taratura - Accredited Calibration Laboratory) are a guarantee of traceability at a National and International level. ACCREDIA is equivalent to all the main international accreditation Bodies such as for example DAKKS (Germany), COFRAC (France), UKAS (United Kingdom), NVLAP (United States) or CNAS (China). ACCREDIA certificates issued by accredited laboratories in Italy are equivalent to the ones all over the world.

The CIBE laboratory is recognised as suitable by the Milan Chamber of Commerce for the execution (only for Italy), on the entire national territory, of Periodic Verification on weighing instruments with capacity between 1 g and 150.000 kg and for the execution of Periodic Verification of weights from 1 mg to 2000 kg.

CIBE is recognised by the Metric Central Office of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development as suitable in carrying out the necessary tests for the request of Test Certificates of weighing modules and CE Type Approval Certificates of automatic and non automatic weighing instruments.

CIBE has obtained the certification of its own quality system in conformance to ISO9001:2008.
